AWS B2B Data Interchange now supports an expanded set of X12 transaction sets for finance, transportation, and supply chain use cases. These transaction sets add to the service’s existing support for dozens of other X12 transactions and extend the benefits of B2B Data Interchange’s fully automated, event-driven EDI transformation capabilities to new industry use cases.
Customers across industries such as manufacturing, e-commerce, logistics, and financial services can now use B2B Data Interchange to validate, parse, and transform a greater variety of X12 transactions received from their trading partners. Among the new transaction sets supported are those used to submit invoices, update purchase orders, share order statuses, provide shipping confirmations, and verify the price of goods and services. In addition, industry-specific transactions for mortgage insurance and rail transport use cases have also been added.
These additional X12 transaction sets are available in all AWS Regions where the AWS B2B Data Interchange service is available. A full list of these transactions, along with their descriptions and categories, can be found in our documentation.
