Today, we are excited to announce a new onboarding and administration experience that makes it easy to setup and manage Amazon SageMaker domains. The setup and onboarding flow on console has been redesigned from the ground up to provide a friendlier one click experience for individual users and a step-by-step guide for Enterprise ML Administrators (Admins).ENnbsp;
Now, individual users can create a SageMaker domain with a few clicks using default pre-sets (e.g. SMFullAccess role, CanvasFullAccess role, IAM auth, and public internet only mode). With the new individual user set up flow, they can now also now also customize Amazon SageMaker Studio and enable features such as Code Editor access.ENnbsp;ENnbsp;
Most enterprises want to customize their set up with the right security guardrails in SageMaker. Today, many Admins aren’t aware of the best practices and common pitfalls. With the new organizations set up, it is now easy for Admins to onboard their organizations and users to SageMaker domain in a single flow with the right security guardrails. Admins can choose the right authentication method, connect to their 3P IDP, configure fine-grained access policies for group of users, configure networking and security settings, and choose the right applications to enable and configure in SageMaker.
Amazon SageMaker new setup flows are available in all Amazon Web Services regions where Amazon SageMaker is currently available, except China and the Amazon Web Services GovCloud (US) regions.
